Manuscript Submission Guidelines

1. Manuscript Types Accepted

AMSMJ accepts the following categories of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Short Communications

  • Case Studies / Applied Modelling Reports

  • Technical Notes


2. Submission Process

Online Submission

Authors must submit their manuscripts electronically through the journal’s submission portal or by email (as per journal policy).
All submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

Initial Screening

Submitted manuscripts undergo:

  1. Plagiarism check

  2. Scope verification

  3. Format compliance review

Only compliant manuscripts proceed to peer review.


3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared in clear, concise English and arranged in the following order:

1. Title Page

  • Full article title (concise and informative)

  • Author(s) full names

  • Affiliations

  • Corresponding author details (email, phone, address)

  • ORCID ID (optional but recommended)

2. Abstract

  • 150–250 words

  • Structured or unstructured

  • State the purpose, methodology, key findings, and significance

3. Keywords

  • 4–6 relevant keywords

  • Avoid repeating words from the title

4. Introduction

  • Background

  • Problem statement

  • Significance of the study

  • Aim and scope

5. Methods / Mathematical Framework

  • Mathematical formulations

  • Statistical methods

  • Model assumptions

  • Data sources (if applicable)

6. Results

  • Analysis

  • Tables, graphs, and model outputs

7. Discussion

  • Interpretation of results

  • Comparison with existing work

  • Limitations

8. Conclusion

  • Summary of contributions

  • Recommendations or future work

9. Acknowledgements (optional)

10. Conflict of Interest Statement

Authors must declare any competing interests.

11. References

Use APA / IEEE / Harvard style (journal can choose one standard).
Ensure all references are cited properly and consistently.


4. Formatting Requirements

  • Manuscript should be typed in Times New Roman, 12-point font

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Page numbering must be continuous

  • Mathematical equations should be numbered sequentially

  • Figures and tables must be clear, high-resolution, and labelled


5. Figures & Tables

  • Insert figures and tables near their first mention

  • Provide descriptive titles and captions

  • High-resolution images (300 dpi or above)

  • Files may also be uploaded separately if required


6. Ethical Responsibilities

Authors must ensure:

  • Originality of work

  • Proper citation of all sources

  • No fabrication or manipulation of data

  • Compliance with ethical standards for any data used

Plagiarism (text or self-plagiarism) is not tolerated.


7. Peer Review Process

AMSMJ follows a double-blind peer review system:

  1. Manuscript assigned to 2–3 reviewers

  2. Review period: 2–4 weeks

  3. Authors may receive one of the following decisions:

    • Accept

    • Minor Revision

    • Major Revision

    • Reject

Revised submissions must include a response-to-reviewers document.
